Welcome to Flying Fox Australia! By enrolling your child in our nature-based play programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions to ensure everyone’s safety, enjoyment, and respect for nature.
- Participation and Supervision
Your child will engage in outdoor, unstructured play including tree climbing, mud play, and interaction with animals under the supervision of our trained staff. We embrace healthy risk-taking (“risky play”) as part of learning and development. - Excursions
Flying Fox programs include supervised excursions around Kiama (nature walks, parks, beaches). Permission for these outings is included in the enrolment form, and children are always closely supervised. - Health and Safety
Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or support needs. We reserve the right to restrict participation if deemed necessary for safety. Staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures. - Swimming Ability
Swimming activities, if any, will be tailored to your child’s ability with appropriate supervision. - Photo and Media Consent
Photo permissions are collected at enrolment, with options for no photos, private group sharing, or full social media and advertising use. We respect your preferences fully. - Behaviour and Respect
We expect respectful behaviour toward staff, children, animals, and environment. Persistent misconduct may result in suspension from activities. - Liability Waiver
While we strive for a safe environment, participation involves inherent risks of outdoor play. Parents/guardians agree not to hold Flying Fox Australia liable for injury or loss resulting from participation. - Payments, Cancellation and Refunds
- All payments are direct debited via GoCardless.
- Morning sessions cost $20 for permanent bookings and $25 for casual bookings. Afternoon sessions are $30 for permanent and $35 for casual bookings. Holiday programs are $65 per day.
- Permanent bookings require two weeks’ notice to finish; no make-ups, refunds, or credits for missed sessions apply.
- Casual bookings require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or the full session fee applies.
- For holiday programs, 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid being charged for non-attendance.
